History
Although Dura-Fibre®
was officially formed in January of 2004, the company’s history
spans more than 70 years of laminating, die cutting and printing experience.
The company was established in 1930 as Wisconsin Container, and had
four shareholders. In 1970 one of the shareholders, Menasha Corporation,
purchased the company and formed the Solid Fibre Division. Then in 2002
the Solid Fibre Division became Menasha Laminating Plant, an operating
unit of Menasha Packaging, LLC. Dunsirn Partners recognized the value
and potential of the company, purchased it and Dura-Fibre emerged. The
rest is history.
Today
Today Dura-Fibre
operates in a 125,000 square foot facility in Menasha, Wisconsin, and
employs 70 people. The Dura-Fibre building has gone through a number
of expansions and equipment updates including a state-of-the-art laminator,
flat bed and rotary die cutters and a unique adhesive system for laminating
thin substrates.
